SASS Summer Camp in Stockholm at Flatenstugan

September 5-7th

 

Our summer camp, organised by the South Africa Society in Sweden, is a weekend away to Flatenstugan. Flaten is located south of SkarpnŠck, south of Stockholm, some 20 minutes by bus from Gullmarsplan. We have had great times at our summer camps and so it will be even this year.

 

Dates  Friday 5th September, from 17h00 on to Sunday 7th September until 17h00.Stranden vid Flatenstugan

How to get there
Take bus 811 or 816 from Gullmarsplan to Flatenbadet, walk from bus station to Flatenstugan approx 1 km. It is also possible to go by car all the way up to the house, Flatenstugan. Directions will be sent out later.

 

Charge - Accommodation & food etc

300SEK accom & food - paid-up members (adults, whole weekend)

450SEK accom & food - non-members (adults, whole weekend)

100SEK children, accom & meals (whole weekend).  For children staying unaccompanied by adults. (NB No charge for accompanied children.)

200SEK for one night, accom & food (adults) Flatenstugan
100SEK one day without sleeping over (adults). Charge is for food for adults. (NB No food charge for children.)

 - Same charge if staying in tent or indoors.

To bring with you 
Your own drinks.
Sheets and blankets, or sleeping bag. Tent, if you prefer staying outdoors.
Flatenstugan will provide us with canoes, our own beach, a sauna, places to barbeque, fields and a lovely forest close by.

 

Volunteers, please
ItÕs important that some volunteers help out with organising this weekend. Please inform Ulrika (see contact details below) if you can help out. A planning and organising meeting is held on Sept 2, at 18h00, at Ethio Star in SaltmŠtargatan 19 (T-RŒdmansgatan).
